The Purpose of the Role

This is not just being part of any other tech company. At Social Nature you’ll be part of a team of change-makers that aspire to make people’s lives better by delivering best-in-class product features.

As a Product Designer you will play a crucial role in crafting the future of the Social Nature B2B SaaS platform. Designers here work across every stage of product development, from identifying user problems and coming up with creative solutions, sketching user experiences and building prototypes, to finalizing any detail of the features and sharing them with the engineering team.

At Social Nature you will have the opportunity to learn and grow by joining a small collaborative product team. You will work closely with another fellow designer, product managers, data analyst and software engineers to launch beautiful features that deliver results and help the company scale.

You’ll have the option to work remotely or from our headquarters in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

What you will be doing:

  • Work with designers, product managers, data analysts and engineers to generate ideas and turn them into a flawless product experience.
  • Work closely with product managers and data analysts to identify opportunities for platform improvements.
  • Design prototypes, launch quick user surveys and conduct user interviews to capture data and validate ideas.
  • Leverage both quantitative and qualitative research findings to inform your work, using analytics and data to make decisions.
  • Define user journeys, interactions and visual design that increase user engagement and generate product stickiness.
  • Partner with engineering to ensure a high-quality implementation and user experience.
  • Improve your team’s work by asking for and offering feedback from other product designers and cross-functional teammates.

What you will need to succeed in this role:

  • 4+ years of experience in a product design role
  • Experience designing B2B responsive user interfaces for the web, ideally in the digital marketing space.
  • Experience designing SaaS platforms that drive online content and generate reports and analytics.
  • An outstanding portfolio, showcasing a strong foundation in easy to understand, interactive, and delightful interface design.
  • Experience with prototyping and conducting user research.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that allow you to confidently present your ideas and design to stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Show a willingness and ability to learn and grow — continuous learning is a fundamental part of our culture.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy contributing in the definition of processes and best-practices.
  • Bonus points: experience in Tech start-up and/or in SaaS marketing platforms.
