The Senior Sales Executive is a senior commercial leader accountable for driving revenue growth and profitable expansion across the PURIS customer portfolio. This role leads by building teams, designing and executing the selling process, accelerating deal velocity, and creating exceptional customer value. As the linchpin between our customer base and the broader PURIS organization, the Senior Sales Executive partners closely with Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and People Operations to shape strategy, execute go-to-market plans, and close complex business deals.

Pay Rate/Range: $150,000 - $175,000

Pay Frequency: Biweekly

Bonus Eligible: Yes

Work Location: Minneapolis, MN

Travel: Regularly (~30%)

The compensation for this role will be based on qualifications, experience, market data, and internal equity. Actual pay may vary due to factors such as location, skills, education, and performance. Pay is determined transparently, using market benchmarks and ensuring internal equity.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and execute the strategic selling strategy to deliver PURIS revenue growth and margin expansion.
  • Build and continuously improve the sales operating model, including selling motions, territories, prioritization, and compensation structure.
  • Lead customer value creation strategies that differentiate PURIS and drive long-term partnerships.
  • Establish and execute strategic go-to-market plans in partnership with Marketing, Sales, and Operations.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Attract, hire, and develop a high-performing sales organization, including direct hires, consultants, and distributors.
  • Coach and develop the team to deliver consistently against growth targets.
  • Lead through influence, modeling accountability, ownership, and collaboration.
  • Provide deal-level leadership and support on strategic or complex opportunities.

Execution & Customer Impact

  • Own accountability for revenue, profitable growth, and customer retention.
  • Enable disciplined execution of the PURIS sales process from discovery through close and expansion.
  • Serve as an executive sponsor on key customer relationships, ensuring customer delight and long-term value creation.
  • Establish and maintain robust feedback loops with customers and internal stakeholders.

Data, Insights & Communication

  • Deliver consistent, accurate, and actionable sales data to support data-driven decision making.
  • Maintain clear visibility into pipeline health, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Communicate effectively with the leadership team and Board of Directors on pipeline, growth, and customer outcomes.
  • Share market, customer, and competitive insights across the organization to inform strategy and innovation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, economics, finance, or human resource development
  • 5-10 years food and beverage experience, preferably within corporate business development, sales, marketing, finance or innovation
  • Ultra Proficient in MS Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams and Power BI
  • Experience with data integration and ERP systems
  • Experience with Customer Value Creation and Strategy Work
  • Experience with ESG and other Sustainability work
  • Ability to travel regularly (~30% of time)
