The Talent Acquisition Manager (TAM) is accountable for overseeing clinician recruitment with a strong focus on driving top-of-funnel activity and executing data-informed recruitment strategies. This role is responsible for attracting top-tier clinical talent, developing a deep understanding of hiring needs and designing scalable, forward-thinking recruitment strategies that strengthen Myo’s employer brand and visibility in the market.
The TAM executes full-cycle recruitment, actively sources qualified candidates and collaborates closely with hiring managers to ensure a seamless, high-touch candidate experience.
This position reports to Senior Manager, People Operations. The responsibilities and duties of this position described here are representative of those that this individual is expected to perform. This is not a comprehensive list and other duties may be assigned.
About the Role:
- Strategy Development: Develop strategies to build an active and diverse talent pipeline, leveraging data to identify gaps and opportunities. Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies that incorporate social media recruitment, events, employer branded marketing, professional networking, referrals and direct sourcing to meet current and future hiring needs. Partner with Marketing to ensure talent-focused content aligns with employer brand positioning and expands Myo’s presence across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.). Use recruitment metrics and funnel analysis (e.g., time-to-fill, source effectiveness, conversion rates, top-of-funnel health) to evaluate strategy performance and adjust tactics accordingly. Ensure strategies are documented in a repeatable and scalable Clinician Recruitment and Employer Brand Playbook, ensure hiring managers understand how to effectively leverage tactics to acquire top talent and brand messaging. Develop timelines and processes for engaging with schools, associations, and other groups to effectively execute against recruitment goals. Create strategies to connect with (and support local teams to connect with) Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, and Massage Therapists through networking and sourcing. Recommend new policies and procedures and inform executive team and regional leadership of industry dynamics that may affect current hiring practices.
- Sourcing and Talent Acquisition: Oversee full cycle recruitment for all clinician candidates including posting for positions, sourcing candidates, and supporting hiring managers throughout the interview process. Partner with hiring managers to understand the recruitment needs of their region/clinic. Source both active and passive candidates utilizing creative strategies and techniques. Build talent pipeline through continuous sourcing, attending relevant industry conferences, connecting with schools, professional group meetings and other events to target top talent. Provide regular updates to hiring managers and ensure ongoing communication to relevant stakeholders. Track progress vs. goals and provide updates to management on a weekly basis. Develop strong relationships with University and industry partners. Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, hiring managers, and external vendors on recruitment-related matters.
- Recruitment Operations: Maintain Lever (ATS) database and ensure all applicants receive timely communication. Develop and maintain clinician recruitment calendar with input from regional leadership. Effectively manage multiple requisitions and candidates during high volume periods while creating and owning a positive candidate experience. Take initiative to proactively identify and solve issues that could impact Myo’s talent pipeline. Facilitate comprehensive training for new hiring managers in line with other onboarding activities. Work closely with People Operations Coordinator to share updates and ensure appropriate hand-off of new hire for onboarding and orientation.

- All regions meet hiring needs
- All regions exceed top-of-funnel recruitment targets
- Provides timely reporting on pipeline health, turnover, and recruitment effectiveness
- Posts jobs externally within 24 hours of receiving notice of opening from Hiring Manager
- Ensures viable candidates connect with hiring managers within 48 hours of application
- Respond to all internal and external inquiries and requests within 8 businesses hours
- Proactively addresses issues to facilitate a seamless recruitment process

- Leadership & Emotional Intelligence: Leader of others and/or project; Facilitates meaningful weekly 1:1s & performance evaluations with direct reports (as applicable); comfortable giving and receiving feedback; sought out as a subject matter expert in their scope
About You:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an HR/Talent Acquisition/Recruitment focused role, with emphasis on experience in healthcare and/ or wellness
- Bachelor’s degree with a specialization in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred
- Experience recruiting in US and Canada market is preferred
- Located in one of our markets, preferably in Toronto
- Strong experience in employer branding, social media recruitment, and data driven recruitment strategy
- Content creation or digital marketing experience in a recruitment context is an asset
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral
- Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks/projects
- Experience with Lever is preferred
