Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Supply Chain Operations & Logistics Coordinator to join our Operations team! In this role, you will oversee day-to-day logistics and manage critical supply chain data, working cross-functionally with teams across tentree and closely with external partners including freight forwarders, customs brokers, third-party logistics providers (3PLs), and suppliers.

You will play a key part in improving operational efficiency and communication across the organization—ensuring product is shipped and delivered on time while supporting tentree’s profitability through strong execution and data accuracy. You will build and maintain effective partnerships with freight forwarders and 3PLs, bring an end-to-end understanding of inbound supply chain operations, and take ownership of on-time delivery performance, stakeholder communication, and reporting on key supply chain metrics.

What will you be doing?

Logistics & Inbound Shipping

  • Determine cost-effective shipping routes and methods based on required timelines
  • Verify, approve, and monitor supplier shipments from origin through warehouse receipt
  • Partner closely with freight forwarders to assess and resolve shipment delays or issues
  • Ensure customs brokers receive complete and accurate commercial documentation
  • Proactively mitigate risks to inbound timelines and seasonal delivery targets

Supplier & Production Coordination

  • Ensure a smooth handoff of inbound cargo from factories to freight forwarders
  • Maintain accurate inbound freight documentation and hold suppliers accountable for data integrity
  • Identify and communicate discrepancies between shipping documents and warehouse receipts
  • Flag shipment delays that may impact seasonal launches or promotions
  • Support lead-time analysis and routing optimization initiatives

3PL & Warehouse Operations

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with 3PL partners
  • Communicate priorities and prepare 3PLs ahead of seasonal launches, promotions, and peak periods
  • Coordinate inbound ASNs and follow up on inbound receipt SLAs
  • Provide inbound, outbound, and inventory volume forecasts to warehouse partners
  • Support inventory exit strategies, including donations and sustainability initiatives
  • Partner with Customer Care and Wholesale teams to resolve fulfillment or inventory issues

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Support the development and ongoing management of SOPs, KPIs, and standardized workflows
  • Identify process gaps and recommend practical, cost-effective improvements
  • Track freight cost changes and support cost-saving initiatives
  • Connect reports, data, and teams to improve operational visibility
  • Ensure accurate inventory data to reduce out-of-stocks and resolve failed receipts or returns

Systems & ERP (NetSuite)

  • Maintain accurate inventory alignment between WMS and ERP systems
  • Support system integrations in partnership with IT & Systems teams
  • Identify system improvements and contribute to the systems roadmap

Key Cross-Functional Relationships

  • Accounting & Finance: Communicate inventory positions, discrepancies, and cost-related impacts
  • IT & Systems: Support ERP and system integrations, ongoing improvements, and business requirements
  • Sourcing & Production: Partner on on-time product handoff, quality control, PO accuracy, and vendor transitions
  • Sales Operations: Communicate accurate inbound timelines and warehouse receipt dates
  • Merchandising & Marketing: Align on product launch timelines and proactively communicate logistics delays

Professional Requirements:

  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, operations, or a related field, with a solid understanding of shipping and inventory processes (consumer goods experience preferred)
  • Working knowledge of inbound logistics, shipment tracking, and inventory management
  • Strong attention to detail, with proven ability to maintain accurate data across systems and reports
  • Experience working cross-functionally and managing multi-stakeholder demands across internal teams and external partners
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate timelines, costs, and priorities with freight forwarders, 3PLs, and suppliers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex logistics information clearly and concisely
  • Comfort working independently and managing priorities with minimal supervision

A typical hiring range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 CAD per year with the final salary offer based on your qualifications, job-related skills, and relevant experience.
