Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to oversee our day-to-day logistics tasks and contribute to our mission of sustainability. If you are highly organized, detail-oriented, thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy problem-solving, this role is for you!

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing logistics operations while supporting the Manager, Supply Chain Operations. You’ll work closely with various internal departments and liaise with external partners, including freight forwarders, brokers, third-party logistics providers (3PLs), and suppliers. Your focus will be on ensuring timely deliveries, effective communication, and reporting on critical supply chain KPIs.

This is a 6-month set-term employment contract. Successful applicants must be located in Vancouver, BC and willing to work from our HQ on a hybrid basis.

What will you be doing?

Inbound Logistics

  • You will determine the most cost-effective shipping options/routes based on required timelines and approve freight forwarders quotes
  • You will work with the Production Team to ensure a smooth handoff of all inbound cargo from factory to freight forwarder
  • You will maintain & archive all inbound freight documents, holding suppliers accountable for accurate data
  • On a weekly basis, you will update expected arrival dates for all open shipments in ERP system
  • You will build delay reports and communicate them to cross-functional teams as early as possible
  • You will receive all inbound inventory in business ERP system (Netsuite)
  • You will coordinate incoming shipments via ASNs to 3PL’s
  • You will maintain & update information in the PO management system
  • You will audit customs entries for inbound shipments
  • You will mitigate shipment delays by ensuring customs brokerage has all relevant information & commercial documents for every shipment
  • You will own & manage the logistics inbox

Operations

  • You will create transfer orders and manage the physical movement of inter-company inventory transfers to ensure accurate stock levels across locations
  • You will input daily inventory adjustments into the ERP system, maintaining data accuracy and integrity for effective inventory management
  • You will oversee warehouse service level agreements (SLAs), collaborating with internal teams to communicate delays or prioritization of volume with third-party logistics providers (3PLs)
  • You will conduct forecasting for inbound and outbound warehouse volume
  • You will execute month-end tasks and checks to ensure all inventory records are accurate and reconciled
