IN A NUTSHELL

We’re a design-led business that cares about the details, we think deeply about people processes, learning & development and take a tailored approach to make sure we consider what works specifically for Bellroy and our people. As we grow, we’re committed to maintaining this bespoke approach and seeking a people-oriented, problem solver to help us achieve this as we scale.

You’ll need to be a problem-solver and the type of human who seeks to understand, an explorer of opportunity who enjoys tweaking processes for maximum impact. We need you to optimise and run the systems that underpin our people operations. Taking care of how people experience and interact with them, while carefully balancing experience with efficiency.

Bring us your people-centric approach, inclination towards continuous improvement and love of systems. In return, we’ll provide you with fantastic learning opportunities, the support you need and an award-winning culture to contribute to.

YOU COULD BE THE ONE IF YOU...

  • Have 5+ years of experience in People and Culture or HR roles, with a track record of leveraging HR systems to develop and implement people processes (We know great P&C professionals can come from many different backgrounds and we love building teams with varied skills so if you don’t have a people background but think you’d bring something amazing to the role, please apply)
  • Love working with people and are curious about how people and things work. You're always asking questions, wanting to iterate and innovate to bring the best solution to the situation
  • Care about documentation, making sure all policies and key processes are documented, updated and stored centrally for our crew to access (but also realise this doesn’t replace supporting and connecting with our crew)
  • Are excited about working in a role within an HQ with the ability to work directly on globally impactful processes and interact with diverse folk
  • Communicate thoughtfully. You understand the impact of change and take time to identify the needs of people and teams and plan accordingly
  • Have a passion for optimising processes and enhancing employee experience
  • Possess strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel formulas and functions

IF YOU WERE HERE LAST MONTH, YOU MIGHT HAVE...

  • Spoken to our Recruitment Manager about a new remote team member to personalise their onboarding, then updated the process in our HRIS bob to be able to localise for our growing team in China
  • Realised a new integration between our ERP and bob would save significant time on a payroll process and worked with our customer success manager at Hibob and our internal data and finance teams to make this happen
  • Explored a new workforce planning module in bob to understand its functionality, decided it sounded right for Bellroy and developed a business case to get financial approval
  • Gathered feedback on a new approach we are piloting for Learning and Development and implemented a process to measure the impact of that training. You then used that experience to strategise with the People & Culture team on upcoming initiatives and how to measure success
  • Noticed our performance review process wasn’t working in the way we expected and tweaked a setting in bob to ensure the process went off without a hitch
  • Automated a time-consuming, manual HR process making the experience better for your team and the employees using it
  • Collaborated with our data team to validate your understanding of employee feedback on our annual pay review process and proposed an update that you think would encourage better outcomes for our staff
  • Met with your external coach to focus on a personal development goal
  • Listened to a podcast episode you especially enjoyed and shared it with the rest of the P&C team with some notes on what you thought about it
